14 Day Money Back Guarantee - Consumer Rights

Within the cooling-off period, if you entered into the contract over the phone, online or on your doorstep, you have 14 calendar days to cancel the contract under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. The cooling-off period starts the day after you agree to go ahead with the service.

Right to cancel

You have the right to cancel within 14 days giving any reason.

To exercise the right to cancel, you must cancel the service/product you wish to cancel via your "Client Area". Then contact us by "Submitting a Ticket" letting us know you wish to cancel within the 14 days cooling-off period.

Please note that at our discretion we may have to charge for products/services used within that 14 day period, which will be charged at a proportional rate relative to the services, work carried out and duration of the contract.

Hosting, Domains, Design & Maintenance

For Web Hosting, Design and Maintenance, we offer a 14 day cooling off period. If you wish to cancel the service that you have purchased within that time, you must cancel the service/product you wish to cancel via your "Client Area". Then contact us by "Submitting a Ticket" letting us know you wish to cancel within the 14 days cooling-off period. Please note that at our discretion we may have to charge for services and work carried out within that 14 day period, which will be charged at a proportional rate relative to the services, work carried out and duration of the contract.

Domains are not eligible for 14 day money back guarantee.

Barnsoft Web Solutions Ltd acknowledges and agrees that Barnsoft Web Solutions Ltd shall not own any right, title or interest in and to any registered domain name pursuant to this Agreement and that the domain name registered for You "the customer" shall be owned by You "the customer" and not by Barnsoft Web Solutions Ltd. You "the customer" acknowledges that this agreement can only be made as between the potential rights of You "the customer" and Barnsoft Web Solutions Ltd and that Barnsoft Web Solutions Ltd cannot represent that a third party will not have or claim right in and to any domain name that is registered under the terms of this Agreement. You "the customer" register the domain name directly with an internet registry company e.g Nominet who look after the domain names, we register you with your own details and that contract agreement is with them and you for the duration specified.

Recurring Payments

Should you enable recurring payments, we will notify you 30 days before a payment is due to be taken. Should you wish to prevent the payment from being taken, please login to "Client Area" and cancel the payment agreement, or "Submitting a Ticket" and ask us to cancel the payment agreement. Should the payment already be taken and you wish to cancel the service and receive a refund, you have 14 days after the payment date to notify us of your wish to cancel the service. Please note that at our discretion we may have to charge for services and labour used within that 14 day period, which will be charged at a proportional rate relative to the services, work carried out and duration of the contract..

Design and Maintenance work

Should you commission us to design and develop your website or create a piece of work for you, we will have a consultation beforehand and then quote you a price for the agreed work. Upon invoicing, we allow 7 days for the payment of the invoice and the work will then begin upon payment. If there are any issues with the work completed, you must notify us of the issues within 14 days of agreed completion of the site, and we will attempt to resolve any issues. Should this not be possible, at our discretion we may offer a refund but still have to charge for services and work carried out, which will be charged at a proportional rate relative to the work carried out and duration of the contract.

Legislations, digital requirements and standards change continuously, while we endeavour to make sure that all completed work is correct and free of errors, we can't guarantee this, and can't offer refunds or repairs for issues or vulnerabilities disclosed in the future, unless the issue is directly related to the work that was carried out. For example, we can't offer refunds for commissioned work being incompatible with future versions of required software, or newly discovered vulnerabilities in software that we have used. This is why we offer our Maintenance plans (aftercare) for your website.

If you wish to cancel the Web Design or Maintenance services within the 14 day period, please login to "Client Area" and cancel the service and "Submit a Ticket" notifying us you wish to cancel the agreement within that 14 day period. Please note that at our discretion we may have to charge for services and work carried out within that 14 day period, which will be charged at a proportional rate relative to the services, work carried out and duration of the contract.

None of the above affects your statutory rights.

Delivery and Returns

We do not provide physical goods, we only provide services, our products and services do not generally need shipping. Should any products need delivery, we will discuss shipping terms prior to taking payment.
